This interactive presentation provides participants with the ability to understand human trafficking and how professionals can improve their response to human trafficking through the lens of a case study. The presenter will take participants through a real survivor's experiences of familial trafficking and interactions with multiple systems. Throughout the presentation, participants will engage in discussions with the presenter to identify areas that several systems can work collaboratively to provide a trauma-responsive, multi-disciplinary response to human trafficking with the goal of meeting the short-term and long-term needs of victims of trafficking.
