Safety Planning with CSEC Youth

Safety planning with children and youth impacted by commercial sexual exploitation (CSEC) and human trafficking (HT) requires a trauma-informed, survivor-centered approach that extends beyond traditional safety planning. This interactive session will provide child-serving professionals with practical strategies for developing individualized safety plans that address exploitation dynamics, trauma responses, and ongoing safety concerns. Participants will explore best practices for engaging youth, collaborating with caregivers and multidisciplinary partners, and fostering protective factors that reduce the risk of re-exploitation while promoting long-term healing, stability, and resilience. Register here.
